Advertising & Sponsored Content Disclosure
Advertising and editorial independence
Advertising helps us fund our journalism, but advertisers have no influence over what our editors report or how they report it.
How we label content
- Advertisement: display and video ads supplied by advertisers or ad networks.
- Sponsored / Partner content: material paid for by a brand, marked clearly with the words “Sponsored” or “Partner content” and the sponsor’s name. It is not written by our newsroom.
- Affiliate links: if we earn a commission from a link, we say so near the link.
- Government and political advertising: clearly marked as advertising and the advertiser is identified.
What we do not do
- We do not publish paid news disguised as news.
- We do not accept advertising that is unlawful, misleading, promotes hatred, or is harmful to children.
- We do not let sponsors review or alter our news stories.
Advertisers are expected to follow applicable Indian law and the advertising standards and consumer-protection rules in force, including rules on endorsements and misleading claims.
To advertise with us, write to info@tspnews.in. To report an advertisement you think is misleading, use the Grievance Officer page.
